Matt Lambert, Managing Director – International Hotel School Training, has a passion for innovation and doing things differently, which comes from his broad experience in front line and management roles within Business Intelligence, Sales, New Business Development and Commercial Finance held within Blue chip companies. Matt has worked across 5 continents and 19 countries to launch new products, establish sales operations and lead strategic projects.
His passion for education comes from a desire to address fundamental structural issues within Africa. Matt has extensive experience within International Hotel School heading up its Durban Campus before taking over the Online business, and then moving to Operations Director. Through running the Online Division, Matt worked closely with International Hotel School Training, which makes him ideally suited to taking over and growing this Division.
John Creighton, Managing Director – International Hotel School, has over 30 years of Management experience (Hotels, Restaurants, Hospitality Education). He has been involved in all facets of Operations, Openings, managing of existing Hotels & Restaurants, to having started & owned successful start-ups as well as holding Senior Executive (Managing Director) positions within the Hospitality and Education spaces. John is an incredibly driven person and always strives to be successful in every venture and opportunity that he’s been involved in. John has a good ‘entrepreneurial head’ and a unique mixture of sound management, entrepreneurial/start-up as well as Education Business experiences. John’s cornerstones of achieving the goals he sets for himself to fruition, is having extreme persistence, tenacity, a ‘never give up attitude’ and working closely with, developing & motivating, high-performance Teams to deliver beyond their own expectations. This attitude is what drives him to pursue a purpose of educating, empowering and ultimately creating gainfully employed students through the Invictus portfolio.
Mike Lambert retains his position as CEO of Invictus Education Group, overseeing all Divisions which include International Hotel School and International Hotel School Training.

International Hotel School was established in 1994, to meet the shortage of trained individuals for a service driven industry. It now offers a range of nationally and internationally recognised Diplomas and Certificates across all sectors of the hospitality industry. It has grown to four campuses with a national Traineeship programme and an Online Learning Platform. Over 1300 students graduate annually after receiving superior practical training (at least 50% of programme) and they are job ready and highly marketable. 95% of our students are employed upon graduation.

Established in 2012, International Hotel School Training is a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor and is recognised as the largest hospitality and gaming training provider in South Africa.
